ABOUT CLASSES

Classes will be split into three groups with ten to twelve students per class. We classify these groups by grade Seedlings (k-1st), Sprouts (2nd-3rd), and Buds (4th-6th) (this may vary depending on the different needs of each student and registration numbers).

We want your student to be in the right place. If they excel in math and need more support in reading, we will accommodate as needed. Each Class will get to learn from 5-7 different teachers who LOVE what they are teaching. Our staff is full of passion, creativity, and so much love.

Hands-on learning is a huge part of Seed School- activities may include Service Projects + emotional resilience + Green House + A Library + Cooking Classes + Class Campouts + Life skills + Field trips + Park Days + Fishing + so many fun things! Monthly book club, weekly movement class, self led passion projects, service projects, student led clubs, fun hands on experiments, our school garden, book club, the school play, an entrepreneurial fair, school days at the park and so much more!!!

Parents will be encouraged to be involved in our classroom, field trips and at home learning. We will have a sign up sheet for all parents to get involved.

Day in the life of a Seed School Student

Morning:
Your student arrives at Seed School and joins their class, for circle time, the pledge of allegiance, Box Breathing, and team building. They set goals for the day then begin with a Math.; an activity using colorful manipulatives following some book work on their own level.

Mid-Morning:
Your student moves to Language Arts, participating in a small group reading session. They read and discuss a story together, exploring its themes and characters. Then write a small summary of their favorite part of the story.

Lunchtime:
Lunch and Recess time will be an entire hour where your student can take their time or finish quickly so they can run around outside. Your student visits the Library with their class. They pick a new book that inspires them and enjoy quiet reading time in a cozy corner.

Afternoon:
In History, your student learns about a historical figure, creating an art project with classmates that highlight what they've learned. Later, during Science, they experiment with magnets and record their findings.

End of Day:
Before the day's end, your student practices mindfulness with deep breathing and understanding emotions. Your student joins Gym class to continue learning all about baseball and then Life Skills for sewing and cooking time. Your student helps clean up reviews the day and heads home excited to return.

Seed School blends academics, hands-on learning, and mindfulness to nurture each student's growth in a supportive environment, fostering a love for learning and community involvement. This day in the life will vary day to day and class by class but each day will be filled with creativity, play, curiosity, and love.
